October 3, 2025

Dear students,  &²Ô²ú²õ±è;

While the negotiations provide hope that a resolution to the work action will be found quickly, unfortunately the FMSQ pressure tactics remain in place as of now.  Therefore, we need to plan for a fourth week of contingency measures, starting October 6. Fortunately, the FMOQ, which had called on its members to stop teaching as of October 4, has postponed this pressure tactic for now.

If the FMSQ suspends its pressure tactics over the next few days, we will email you to provide further instructions.

Site directors have been asked to provide you with schedules for next week, so that we can resume rotations quickly if the FMSQ pressure tactics are lifted.

Note that:

  • Should the pressure tactics be lifted today or tomorrow by 6:00 p.m, Pediatrics and OBGYN rotations would resume the following day, while all others would resume on Monday.
  • Should the pressure tactics be lifted on Sunday, all rotations would begin on Tuesday.

We understand how difficult this uncertainty is and appreciate your continued flexibility and patience. Thank you for staying engaged and adaptable during this time. &²Ô²ú²õ±è;
