The Nkabom Collaborative is a multi-stakeholder initiative transforming food and nutrition systems through youth leadership, innovation, and partnership.
Nkabom is led by seven higher education institutions, one industry partner, and the Mastercard Foundation, working together to drive meaningful change in Ghana. Guided by the Mastercard Foundation鈥檚 Young Africa Works strategy, the Collaborative鈥檚 vision and activities focus on a shared commitment to creating pathways for young people, particularly women and marginalized groups, to secure dignified and fulfilling work.
"Nkabom" [n-KAH-bohm]
"Nkabom" translates to "togetherness" or "unity" and originates from the Akan language of Ghana. It emphasizes the importance of coming together, connecting, and working collectively towards a common goal.
