Marlon Seror is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al. He obtained his PhD from the Paris School of Economics. His research focuses on migration and its consequences for economic and urban development, at the intersection of Development Economics, Urban Economics, and Economic History. Much of his work relies on original data collection and geographic information systems (GIS) to explore how population movements shape long-run development trajectories and urban dynamics. In upcoming projects, he studies the impact of internal migration on urban development, in particular spurred by climate change in developing countries.
