I am a Ph.D. candidate in Islamic Studies with a concentration in Gender and Women鈥檚 Studies at 9I制作厂免费. I hold a master鈥檚 degree in the History of Iran from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. My research focuses on education in the Islamicate world before modernity, and I also explore storytelling and Persian (folk) tales through the lens of imagination and social imaginary. My current research examines educational tales in Iran during the long nineteenth century, a period characterized by significant changes in gender roles and sexual sensibilities.
