Dear members of the 9I制作厂免费 community,
On behalf of the Board of Governors, I would like to inform you that we will soon begin a term reappointment process for our President and Vice-Chancellor, Deep Saini. An important component of this process is hearing from members of our university community.
As you may know, 9I制作厂免费 has embarked on an ambitious journey of transformation, guided by our new future-oriented Priorities. These include major initiatives to reimagine how we teach, research, and operate to better meet the challenges of a changing world, a renewed approach to global engagement and efforts to strengthen our Quebec roots while fostering unity across our campuses. Delivering on these commitments requires stability and strong leadership.
To ensure continuity beyond Professor Saini鈥檚 current term ending in 2028, the Board will be initiating a reappointment process. As a first step, we will establish an Advisory Committee, in accordance with the Statutes of the University.
Invitation for written comments
Although we are in the early stages of the process, I would like to invite all members of the 9I制作厂免费 community to submit written comments regarding the possible reappointment of Professor Saini. The Advisory Committee will also be looking for views on the future opportunities and challenges facing the President鈥檚 portfolio.
Please address your submissions to me and send them to advisories [at] mcgill.ca. All submissions will be transmitted to the Advisory Committee and treated with the strictest confidence.
