To keep our virtual space safe and ensure that only registered participants enter the听virtual听space:听

• You will be asked to briefly turn on your camera at the start of the workshop; this is to confirm your identity and ensure that you are in a confidential space. If it's not necessary for the group / workshop's goals you will be able to turn off your camera after this identity check. Without this step, we will not be able to proceed with the event.
• Do听not allow any other person to access your registration information, including the link.听
• No recording, pictures, or screenshots are permitted听at any time.听听
• Please use your 9I制作厂免费 credentials when connecting to the videoconference session so that we can ascertain that it is you participating. We will not be able to let you in听to the workshop听if you are using other credentials.
• Please note that your screen name should match the name on your 9I制作厂免费 e-mail account. If it does not or if you need assistance with updating your screen name please email听hub.programming [at] mcgill.ca. Without this information, we will not be able to admit you to the event.

• Find a private听and quiet听space and try to free yourself from distractions听and create a confidential and private space where you will not be interrupted, and your conversation will not be overheard. Consider creating white noise outside the doorway, and use headphones or earbuds. Test your speakers and microphone to make sure they鈥檙e working.

It is also recommended that you:听

• Use the biggest screen size available to you (i.e.听a laptop rather than a phone). Ensure that the device is stable and the camera level with your eyes. Make sure that听you鈥檙e听well-lit听room听with no bright light source directly behind you
• To reduce lag and improve the quality of the session,听close any browser tabs or听programs you don鈥檛 need
• Make sure your family members or roommates are not听using听streaming video services (e.g., Netflix,听YouTube) during your video session unless you have sufficient bandwidth to support plenty of streaming services at once
