Our 9I制作厂免费 Survival Workshops are now offered for everyone, including 9I制作厂免费 students, staff and faculty. They are not suitable for young children. In English.听

These workshops are held once a month, over lunch from 12h-13h, with wilderness educator Steve Leckman.

FEE per workshop: $10/ non-student or $5 / student (must be over 16听years of age)

Payable when you arrive at the start of the workshop. All workshops start in the entrance hall of the Redpath Museum. The FOUR workshops scheduled for WINTER 2019听will be held outdoors so dress suitably. Try to eat your lunch before or after because you will need your hands free to participate in these workshops.

All workshops require advance reservation at least one week before to: redpath.museum [at] mcgill.ca.

Rematriation, Repatriation and Restitution Statement

We acknowledge that the return and restitution of cultural and natural heritage to communities of origin is an essential part of reconciliation and of recognizing the fundamental rights of Indigenous Peoples. As part of wider efforts to activate the standards presented in the Canadian Museums Association Report Moved to Action: Activating UNDRIP in Canadian Museums (2022), the Redpath is working towards pro-active restitution practices. As per our Collections Management Policy (2024), repatriation requests will be received by the Redpath Museum Director and will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

Accessibility

Please note that the Redpath Museum is not accessible to individuals using wheelchairs. There are no access ramps or elevators, and access to the upper floors is only possible via a central staircase. The exterior entrance, interior spaces, exhibition rooms, and restrooms are not adapted to meet universal accessibility standards. Additionally, the building is not air-conditioned.
