his thematic program will focus on contemporary classi铿乧ation problems in low-dimensional topology and the interplay between the algebraic, topological, geometric and analytic structures that arise in these classi铿乧ations. Our focus will be on emerging areas (e.g. hyperbolic manifolds in dimensions 4 or more), new progress in traditional areas (e.g. the classi铿乧ation of non-simply-connected topological 4-manifolds), and investigating conjectured connections between disparate structures on low-dimensional manifolds (e.g. the L-space con-jecture).
