March 4 to March 8: from 10h00 to 15h00

Begin your expedition at our special paleontology base camp with a presentation on dinosaur excavations, museum specimens and field work! Continue with your search for evolutionary fossils in the Museum鈥檚 natural history galleries using your own expedition map. Who knows what you might find?听This expedition听is provided by the Redpath Museum's students and staff.

For everyone!听Fee: $6 (+ taxes)听per child/student;听听$10 (+ taxes)听 per adult. Payable at听the front desk when you arrive at the Museum.

Rematriation, Repatriation and Restitution Statement

We acknowledge that the return and restitution of cultural and natural heritage to communities of origin is an essential part of reconciliation and of recognizing the fundamental rights of Indigenous Peoples. As part of wider efforts to activate the standards presented in the Canadian Museums Association Report Moved to Action: Activating UNDRIP in Canadian Museums (2022), the Redpath is working towards pro-active restitution practices. As per our Collections Management Policy (2024), repatriation requests will be received by the Redpath Museum Director and will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

Accessibility

Please note that the Redpath Museum is not accessible to individuals using wheelchairs. There are no access ramps or elevators, and access to the upper floors is only possible via a central staircase. The exterior entrance, interior spaces, exhibition rooms, and restrooms are not adapted to meet universal accessibility standards. Additionally, the building is not air-conditioned.
