Twenty-four 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ researchers have been named to the , placing them among the top researchers worldwide whose work has demonstrated rigorous scholarship and broad and significant global influence in their fields. Their expertise spans a wide range of disciplines, from neuroscience to environmental science.

This year marks a notable rise for 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ: the number of 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ scholars on the list grew from 14 in 2024 to 24 in 2025.

Clarivate’s annual list identifies researchers whose publications rank in the top one per cent by citations in their field. This year, Clarivate designated 7,131 Highly Cited Researcher awards to 6,868 individuals from more than 1,300 institutions in 60 countries and regions.

Canada once again ranked 6th place overall in 2025, with 227 Highly Cited Researchers, representing a share of 3.2% of the world total.
