2025 DOM Research Symposium
Tuesday, November 11, 2025, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
RI-MUHC Auditorium (E S1.1129) and Hybrid on

In-person: RI Auditorium - Glen Site, Block E, room E S1.1129

Via Zoom:

We would love to see all our DOM scientists, faculty, students, residents, fellows, and graduate students at this year鈥檚 Annual Research Symposium. It is an opportunity to showcase our science and research, hear engaging keynote speakers, and support your colleagues. All trainees, including students, residents, fellows, and graduate students, are invited to present their research by submitting an abstract, with the chance to participate in the Abstract Slam competition and potentially win a prize.

Our community has told us they want the DOM to be the most research-intensive in Canada, and this event is a step toward making that vision a reality.

Overall Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to 鈥

  1. recognize the spectrum of research in the Department of Medicine
  2. recall state-of-the-art knowledge about diverse laboratory, translational, and clinical/epidemiologic research methodologies applied to important health and disease entities.
  3. identify opportunities for collaboration across the Department of Medicine
