DESCRIPTION:Scholarships available for new one-credit course taken in colla
 boration with l’École d’été   This August 13th - 16th\, 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ’
 s School of Continuing Studies (SCS) will be hosting L’École d’été\, a yea
 rly event organized by l’Institut de Nouveau Monde. L’École d’été will bri
 ng together 500+ youth to engage with civil society leaders on a variety o
 f issues related to social engagement in Quebec.   At this year’s edition\
 , SCS will be offering a new course\, CPAC101 : Sujet spécial en citoyenne
 té et engagement social. This one-credit course (provided in French only f
 or this summer) will offer students a chance to participate in the activit
 ies of l’École d’été\, with the goal of bringing these activities into an 
 academic framework that will include: readings\, intensive face-to-face me
 etings and assignments. It will also provide a unique opportunity to McGil
 l students who are interested in connecting to various Quebec community en
 gagement representatives as part of their studies.   The fee for participa
 tion in l’École d’été is $95.00 and the fee for taking part in the one - c
 redit course is an additional $100.00\, for a total course fee for CPAC 10
 1 course of $195.00 (for Canadian Citizens).   The School of Continuing St
 udies (SCS) has received funding through donor contributions to support st
 udents with their tuition expense for CPAC 101. We are pleased to offer th
 e scholarships to 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ students who are registering in the ab
