Registration for the event ends on October 3rd at noon.  CED connects s tudents\, staff and faculty volunteers with community organizations in Mon treal such as the Native Women's Shelter\, Yellow Door\, Santropol Roulant \, and 40+ other social advocacy organizations. Activities include public discussions\, sitting volleyball\, filming a sign language music video\, c ommunity walking tours\, urban gardening\, mural painting\, youth mentorsh ip\, and more!  Each activity is followed by a reflection discussion in o rder to foster deeper engagement and learning about societal issues that m ake these organizations necessary. CED is a great way to leave the 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ bubble and learn from the many diverse communities in Montreal. CED workin g with many 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ and Montreal groups including 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ's Office Of Sustai nability\, SSMU\, and Quartier d'Innovation to name a few. Fo r staff: Please encourage your staff and colleagues to register individual ly or in groups for one or more of the 46 projects we have to choose from. We also have projects on Saturday\, Oct. 5th if it is difficult to take t ime off on the Friday.  For faculty: Perhaps there is one or tw o that apply to your class work? I would be happy to suggest related proje cts based on your needs\, as we have projects related to education\, scien ce\, urban planning\, architecture\, social economy\, Let me know dates an d times if you would like the CED team to come to your class for a short p resentation about the event.  For students: We encourage studen t clubs and groups to apply\, and CED is a great way for new students to e xplore the city\, and discover organizations they may want to be involved with during their time at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ and beyond.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
