Prior to joining MUHC\, Dr. O patrny was the Associate Deputy Minister\, General Directorate of Academic \, Medical\, Nursing\, and Pharmaceutical Affairs\, Ministry of Health and Social Services\, Government of Quebec. She earned her medical degree at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ\, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada. She obtained a Maste rs in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ and a Masters in Healthcare Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston\, Massachusetts. She returned to Harvard for a Diploma in Advanced Negotiat ions and to Harvard Business School for a Certificate in Strategic Agility . Dr. Opatrny served as the Director of Professional Services at the CISSS de Laval and St. Mary’s Hospital Center. She was a practicing physician a t the MUHC between 2004 and 2012.
