 School of Social Work. Prior to embarking on her PhD\, she interned and wo
 rked for several years in child and youth psychiatry at the Jewish General
  Hospital providing intake evaluations as well as individual and family th
 erapy. Additionally\, she worked at the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et 
 th茅rapeutes conjugaux et familiaux (OTSTCFQ) to support the development of
  four R茅f茅rentiels describing the competencies and professional inspection
  process for CFTs in Quebec and to help increase the visibility of the pro
 fession within the province.\n\nAinsley鈥檚 lecture entitled 鈥淭he families w
 e choose and what they mean for all families: Rethinking Approaches to Fam
 ily Therapy鈥� will present the concept of chosen family systems\, therapeut
 ic frameworks for understanding them\, as well as implications for family
