Her areas of research focus on Race\, Racism and Whiteness in Social Work ped agogy\, curriculum and practice. Harjeet brings an interlocking analysis o f violence and oppression to the exploration of anti-violence in our work. Her research and teaching is informed by post-structural perspectives\, c ritical race\, decolonial\, feminist and queer theories. Harjeet worked in the anti-violence field for many years as a counselor\, community organiz er and activist.
