Clear and easy checklists can aid in critical decision-making and lower the pos sibility of making mistakes by providing a road map for systematic thinkin g particularly during this stressful and unprecedented situation. This pre sentation will feature an initiative that brought together researchers\, p ractitioners and policy-makers from Ontario\, Quebec and New Brunswick to develop a series of checklists to facilitate worker conversations with chi ld welfare-involved families during the COVID-19 pandemic. The checklists are quick and easy to complete. They supplement existing knowledge and exp ertise and are field tested and based on actual experience. Each checklist is accompanied by up-to-date resources and tools to assist in their use w ith quick references to current agency practices and protocols. The presen tation will focus on the development and initial implementation of the too ls by highlighting lessons learned and promising avenues for broader disse mination across child-serving sectors.\n\n\n \n \n \n Zoom link:\n \n \n https:// mcgill.zoom.us/j/85879604539 \n \n \n \n\n DTSTART:20210120T170000Z DTEND:20210120T180000Z LOCATION:Wilson Hall\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 2A7\, 3506 rue University SUMMARY:Child welfare engagement with families during a pandemic: A clinica l tool initiative across Ontario\, Quebec and New Brunswick URL:/socialwork/channels/event/child-welfare-engagemen t-families-during-pandemic-clinical-tool-initiative-across-ontario-quebec- and-327820 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
