The earliest of the 1 \,500 books is an incunabulum printed in 1481 (about 20 years after Gutenb erg)\, and while the array of books ranges from early Hebrew grammars\, Ta lmuds\,  abbalistic works\, liturgical texts\, history\, and early antisem itic tracts\, there are also unusual tracts dealing with religious vestmen ts\, architecture\, and travel. Three of the JPL’s librarians will discuss these books\, the history of printing (as well as Hebrew printing)\, and share some of the strange stories and scandals that underscored the produc tion of these works\n DTSTART:20190318T163000Z DTEND:20190318T180000Z LOCATION:Peel 3661\, CA\, QC\, Montreal\, H3A 1X1\, 3661 rue Peel SUMMARY:SIS Seminar Series Rare Books workshop URL:/sis/channels/event/sis-seminar-series-rare-books- workshop-294980 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
