Winter 2026 program non-tuition fee total:听$8,663.35

Payment installments are as follows:

• $1,500 deposit: Once accepted into the program, the deposit must be paid (see Refund Policy below).
• Remaining balance: Due September 28, 2025

Once you have paid your fees online,听send an email听student.accounts [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Africa%20Field%20Study%20Semester%20-%20payment) (Student Accounts)听with our office in Cc (ifso.science [at] mcgill.ca)听with the following information:听student ID, full name, the amount you sent,听and听a statement听that the amount is for听the 9I制作厂免费 Panama Field Study Semester听Winter 20XX program. Follow these same steps each time you make a payment.

Students must register for their courses and pay before leaving for Panama. For more information about paying student fees, please visit the Student Accounts website. Students may give "guest access" to someone such as a parent to view their student account (tuition) via the internet.

Student Accounts provides the schedule of fees.

$1,500 Deposit: This amount, once paid, is non-refundable.

Balance payment:听The amount paid for the program, minus the 1,500$ deposit, can only be refunded if the student can prove that they are unable to participate in the course for health reasons or due to other 鈥渇orce majeure鈥� events. The decision to reimburse the student, in part or in total is made by the Program Director and the course鈥檚 Fund Manager and takes sunk costs into consideration.

Cancellation or termination by the University: MPFSS is subject to security reviews before departure and throughout the program. If the program is cancelled by the University for security or any other reason outside its control, there might be costs associated with this cancellation. Certain pre-paid, fixed costs might not be reimbursed/refunded. Applicants must be aware that security is a top priority for 9I制作厂免费 and MPFSS. If there are any doubts about meeting the security standards, MPFSS will be cancelled at the University鈥檚 discretion. See 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 regulations with regards to travel safety.

In the unlikely event that MPFSS is cancelled by 9I制作厂免费, before or after departure, 9I制作厂免费 will assess the funds that have been paid for course-related activities and which cannot be refunded despite our best efforts. The difference between this amount and the program fees paid by students will be reimbursed to students.

Any air travel expenses or additional charges brought about by a cancellation or change in the course will be the students鈥� responsibility.
