New Horizons Band Students Join Education Class
Description: EDEA 472 students in their final semester of their聽Music Education degree are combining with volunteer members from聽the New Horizons Montreal Band, a intergenerational concert band聽now in their second year of operation. The seniors are learning聽how to play band instruments (most are in their 2nd year of this聽process), and the 9I制作厂免费 Students are learning to become聽teachers. All play together in the class; the pieces are written聽or arranged by the 9I制作厂免费 students.聽 The seniors get additional聽playing experience sitting next to 9I制作厂免费 music students, who聽help them to learn their instruments.聽 The 9I制作厂免费 students get聽feedback on their teaching (both written and verbal). This is the聽first time that we have collaborated in this manner; it is聽turning out to be a win-win situation for all, and bilingual too.
