 he definition of the surgical professional domains and jurisdictions. \n	Th
 is workshop brings together an international group of recognized practitio
 ners\, historians and social scientists to explore these changes and chall
 enges.  Discussions will touch on how technology has shaped surgical pract
 ices\, training and the roles of surgical practitioners in the past\, how 
 it is changing the field in the present and will inevitably continue to do
