DESCRIPTION:Dear members of the Faculty of Science\, and of Departments in 
 related Faculties\,\n\nI would like to invite you to the 12th annual Facul
 ty of Science Undergraduate Research Conference\, and ask you to please ex
 tend this invitation to students in your classrooms and labs.\n\nOn Thursd
 ay\, October 20\, 2016\, students from across the Faculty of Science will 
 present their research projects in the Arts Building Lobby\, starting at 1
 1:00am. A panel of distinguished 9I��������� judges will adjudicate the project
 s. At 4:00 p.m. in adjoining Moyse Hall\, certificates and prizes will be 
 awarded\, and distinguished alumnus Dr. Frederic Bertley (STEM education a
 nd outreach specialist\; Senior Vice President of Science\, The Franklin I
 nstitute\, Philadelphia\, Pennsylvania) will give the keynote address: “A 
 Note to Our Future Scientists: Pay Attention to the Importance of Science 
 in a Growing Clueless Society”. The day will culminate with a reception.\n

 ck out their fascinating research projects.\n\nPlease also encourage stude
 nts to come to the event. In particular\, the poster session is an excelle
 nt opportunity to discover what undergraduate research is about and find o
 ut how to get involved by talking with peers. The keynote address will be 
 a call for science literacy\, science communication\, and science engageme
