While initi ally introduced to study singularities of mean curvature flow\, it has pro ven to be an interesting geometric measure of complexity. In this talk I w ill survey some of the recent progress made on studying the Colding-Minico zzi entropy of hypersurfaces. In particular\, I will discuss a series of w ork by Lu Wang and myself showing closed hypersurfaces with small entropy are simple in various senses.\n \n \n Hybride - CRM\, Salle / Room 5340\, Pav illon André Aisenstadt / Zoom (voir survol/ see overview)\n\n \n\nhttp://c rm.umontreal.ca/colloque-sciences-mathematiques-quebec/index.html#csmq\n DTSTART:20221104T193000Z DTEND:20221104T203000Z SUMMARY:Jacob Bernstein (Johns Hopkins University) URL:/mathstat/channels/event/jacob-bernstein-johns-hop kins-university-343174 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
