 tract: We will discuss the problem of solving the Einstein equations with 
 boundary data at infinity close to the conformal infinity of anti-de-Sitte
 r space and present some recent well-posedness results obtained in collabo
 ration with Alberto Enciso (ICMAT). We will also list some open problems. 
 The talk will have a significant introductory component and should be of i
 nterest to graduate students and post-docs.\n
