One such issues concerns boundary ef fects on entanglement entropy\, which is important both for theoretical ex plorations of entanglement and for applications of entanglement entropy to lattice simulations\, condensed matter systems\, etc.. During this talk\, I will show how the presence of spacetime boundaries affects the entangle ment entropy. To that end\, I will introduce different methods: field theo retic\, lattice\, and holographic. Focus will be on entangling surfaces th at intersect the space boundary\, and special attention will be given to t he universal logarithmic contributions that such configurations produce in the entanglement entropy.\n DTSTART:20190402T193000Z DTEND:20190402T203000Z LOCATION:Room 4336\, CA\, Pav.
