 patient characteristics. Determining good tailored treatment strategies re
 quires statistical expertise\, and many challenges arise in estimation and

 ion\, I will give an overview of the field of precision medicine from a st
 atistical viewpoint\, and introduce some of the current analytic tools foc
 using on a single-stage setting\, before turning to some case-studies of r
 eal-world analyses.\n
