 in Lounge (Burnside 1025). As usual\, there will be pizza.\n\n \n\nThis we
 ek\, Wissam Ghantous will talk to us about cryptography:\n\n \n\nHave you 
 ever wondered what all the hype was about quantum computers? How do they '
 break cryptography'? Or what even is cryptography?\n	\n	I will start with th
 e beginnings of cryptography\, and we will end up talking about modern asp
 ects of it. Some included topics are: basic codes\, elliptic curves\, and 
 Shor's algorithm (i.e.\, the end of RSA).\n	\n	Warning: This talk may contai
 n number theory\, so be ready to hear words like 'group'\, 'modulo'\, and 
 'gcd'.\n\n \n\nSee you all there!\n\n \n\nAllgraduate students are invited
 . As with all talks in thegraduate student seminar\, this talk will be acc
 essible to allgraduate students in math and stats.This seminar was made po
