 \, this talk focusses on how we keep women on track to careers in math wit
 hout losing them somewhere along the way\; this phenomena of women disappe
 aring as they approach higher levels of a discipline is commonly referred 
 to as the “leaky pipeline”. Ultimately\, initiatives towards gender divers
 ity in mathematics require a “talent pipeline’’\, a way to ensure conditio
 ns that will ultimately lead to the success of women-identified individual
 s in mathematics.\n
