You will do and decorate cupcakes\, th e dessert part of the Valentine’s Day thematic meal prepared for Lachine’s Community pediatrics Center located in the Ville Saint-Pierre area\, one of the poorest on Montreal island. Its mission is to to support vulnerable children and families of this area to ensure their well‐being and optimal development.\n\nThose who will have volunteered\, they will get to experi ence this Valentine’s Day thematic meal\, a heartwarming lasagna and\, of course\, cupcakes. \n\nThis entire operation has been planned\, implemente d and by Dietetics students as part of NUTR 345/346 courses. \n\nRSVP to v olunteer by February 2\n\nSchedule\n\n11:00–10:15: Introduction (CC-212)\n \n11:15–12:45: Cooking dessert in the Food Lab (CC-215)\n\n12:45: Voluntee r lunch is served (CC-212)\n\nAbout MacShares\n\nMacShares is a team-build ing group activity in which Mac faculty\, staff and students volunteer a c ouple of hours of their time to contribute to creating 100+ meals which ar e then served by local community organizations to people in need.
