 duate and undergraduate students can benefit from these academic opportuni
 ties\, all of which are aimed at stimulating critical discussions about co
 ntemporary research and issues in the agriculture and environment\, to fos
 ter increased interactions among the Macdonald faculty\, and to highlight 
 our ability to deliver outstanding scientific contributions.\n\nThis month
 's lecture features Salam Habib\, PhD Candidate in the School of Human Nut
 rition.\n\nEveryone is welcome to attend.\n\nABOUT THE SPEAKER:\n\nSalam H
 abib\, a senior PhD student at 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ's Macdonald Campus School of Human N
 utrition. Supervised by Dr. Luis Agellon\, her research aims to study the 
 possibility of reshaping the gut microbiota to promote health\, and reduce
  obesity and its related diseases. During her study\, she built an artific
 ial gut system\, the first of its kind in North America\, highly flexible 
 and feasible\, and can be used for extensive investigation of the gut micr
 obiota from various angles.\n
