 ean Centre for Tropical Diseases. Dr. Yansouni is an Infectious Diseases p
 hysician and a Medical Microbiologist whose research focuses on improving 
 diagnostic capacity in low resource or remote settings.\nIn much of the wo
 rld\, the lack of diagnostic lab capacity is a key barrier to surviving se
 vere infections.  Dr. Yansouni’s has research focused on improving diagnos
 tic capacity in low resource or remote settings\, in developing countries 
 as well as in Canada. Can timely access to diagnostics in remote areas sto
 p the spread of infections?
