 nt (Sciences Po\, Paris).\n\nAbstract\n\n[In French only] Cet atelier se p
 ropose d’étudier le droit civil comme un rapport d’influence entre un élém
 ent technique et un élément politique. Une telle approche permet d’isoler 
 ces éléments tout en pensant leur action réciproque ainsi que leur relativ
 ité.\n\nLe droit civil existe\, ainsi\, comme une écriture particulière\, 
 tel est son élément technique. Un moyen au service d’une fin politique : u
 n mode d’exposition d’un projet de société\, indépendamment de la nature d
 e ce dernier. Ceci posé\, nous développerons l’hypothèse selon laquelle il
  est possible de concevoir le droit civil comme pouvant assurer la coexist
 ence formelle\, la coprésence pacifique de plusieurs projets politiques da
 ns une société unique mais pluraliste.\n\nAfin d’y parvenir\, cet atelier 
 entend développer successivement les points suivants : 1. Isoler l’élément
  politique du droit civil\; 2. Formaliser son élément technique\; 3. Conce
 voir ce dernier comme (pouvant peut-être être) l’instrument d’une théorie 
 de la justice adaptée au fait pluraliste de nos sociétés contemporaines.\n
 \nAbout the Civil Law Workshops\n\nIn order to promote fundamental researc
 h in private law\, the Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparati
 ve Law initiated the “Civil Law Workshops” series\, bringing together juri
 sts from Québec and beyond to work on related research topics. With their 
 cross-disciplinary focus\, the “Civil Law Workshops” contribute to enrichi
 ng and stimulating fundamental research in private law.\n\nThe 2018-2020 s
 eries of Civil law workshops explore 'Les influences en droit privé'.\n\nT
 he workshops are presented with financial assistance from Justice Canada’s
  Access to Justice in Both Official Languages Support Fund.\n\nRegistratio
 n is not required.\n\nEach workshop has been accredited for 1.5 hour of co
 ntinuing legal education by the Barreau du Québec and the Chambre des nota
 ires du Québec. \n
