 of Air and Space Law (IASL) with Dr. Gábor Lukács\, founder of Air Passeng
 er Rights.\n\nWe have all been through it: getting off the flight\, going 
 to the baggage carousel\, nervously waiting\, and hoping the bag we checke
 d in arrives. Preferably in one piece.\n\nAir travel should not be so stre
 ssful. When your baggage is delayed\, damaged\, or lost\, the airline owes
  you compensation up to $2\,000. Learn what your rights are and how to enf
 orce them\, from the airport all the way to the courthouse.\n\nAbout the s
 peaker\n\nDr. Gábor Lukács is the founder and coordinator of Air Passenger
  Rights\, an independent non-profit network of volunteers devoted to empow
 ering travellers through education\, advocacy\, investigation\, and litiga
 tion.\n\nSince 2008\, Dr. Lukács has filed more than two dozen successful 
 regulatory complaints with the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA)\, chal
 lenging the terms\, conditions\, and practices of airlines\, resulting in 
 orders directing them to amend their conditions of carriage and offer bett
 er protection to passengers.\n\nDr. Lukács has appeared before courts acro
 ss Canada\, including the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of
  Canada\, in respect of air passenger rights. He successfully challenged t
 he CTA's lack of transparency and the reasonableness of the Agency's decis
 ions.\nPlease note that while the location is wheelchair-accessible\, cons
