 rofessor Prassl's recent book 'Humans as a Service: the Promise and Perils
  of Work in the Gig Economy\,' during which he will offer an engaging acco
 unt of the opportunities\, challenges and large implications of 'on-demand
  work' for employment law. Professor Prassl will also address how we can e
 nsure decent working conditions\, protect consumers and foster innovation 
 amidst the rise of the 'gig economy.' A question period will follow.\n\nRe

 and an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law at Oxford University. His
  research interests are in the field of employment law and technology. Jer

 lic and private sector organisations around the world on regulating the gi
