 gel Sohmer Tax Policy Colloquium as part of its PUB2 515 Tax Policy class.

 eory\, along with related issues of economics and social justice. This fal
 l\, in its second installment\, the Colloquium will focus on the fundament
 als of corporate tax policy by critically examining issues in national and
  international tax policy.\n\nThis week\, the Colloquium welcomes Steven D
 ean\, Brooklyn Law School\n\nSteven Dean is a Professor at Brooklyn Law Sc
 hool and a specialist in tax law. His research addresses a range of tax an
 d budgetary issues\, including unconventional solutions to problems such a
 s tax havens\, regulatory complexity and tax shelters. His recent article\
 , “Tax Deregulation\,” considered the surprising implications of enhancing
  taxpayer autonomy.\n\nMembers of the public are welcome (please note that
  the colloquium takes place in a classroom setting).\n
