 mportance d’une formation juridique qui sensibilise les étudiants et étudi
 antes « aux traités et aux droits des autochtones\, au droit autochtone de
  même qu’aux relations entre l’État et les Autochtones » (n. 27 des Appels
  à l’Action).\nIn the words of Anishinaabe elder\, Kizhebowse Mukwa\, “The
  purpose of treaties is to reconcile sovereignties. By making a treaty wit
 h each other\, the Crown and the Anishinaabe Nation acknowledged each othe
 r’s sovereignty. A nation-to-nation: government-to-government relationship
  was thus established between the Parties. The Traditional Constitution of
  the Anishinaabe Nation that enables treaty making endures.\nCrown Governm
 ents have historically been unable to respect or have denied the inherent 
 jurisdiction of the Anishinaabe Nation even as the courts in Canada have a
 lready been enforcing customary laws in numerous instances. From Midewin\,
  the Traditional Law and Medicine Society of the Anishinaabe\, Kizhebowse 
 Mukwa (Kind Walking Bear) will explain that the harmonization of the admin
 istration of Anishinaabe law and Canadian law in workable and practical te
 rms is the meaning of reconciliation of sovereignties. This is the most fu
