Taking these protests seriously implies considerin g the post-colonial and geo-political interests coming from states and ins titutions who set the rules of global migration policy. \n\nAbout the spea ker\n\nLaurence LeBlanc's range of academic interests often intersect at t he crossroads between geopolitical constraints\, subordinated peoples' exe rcise of human rights\, and eco-feminist critiques.
