Salary: $11 479 /course (including vacation pay).

The Department of Jewish Studies is inviting applications to teach a course in Winter 2026. Please complete the online application form and upload the required documents. JWST 220 D2 section 002– Introductory Hebrew
Language acquisition - Introductory Hebrew.

January 5 – April 14, 2026: Monday/Wednesday (11:35 am – 12:55 pm)

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: Advanced academic degree, preferably a PhD, from an Israeli university.
Experience: Extensive experience teaching Hebrew. Some experience of teaching at the academic level is a plus.

JWST 320 D2 – Intermediate Hebrew
This course is designed to integrate students at various levels into one group with the aim of improving their basic language skills and preparing them for advanced Hebrew.

January 5 – April 14, 2026: Monday/Wednesday (2:35 pm – 3:55 pm)

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: Advanced academic degree, preferably a PhD, from an Israeli university
Experience: Extensive experience teaching Hebrew. Some experience of teaching at the academic level is a plus.

A study of one style, historical period, or geographical location of Jewish musical expression.
