 ire personnelle en philosophie à l’Université d’Édimbourg. Il a publié de 
 nombreux travaux en théorie éthique\, en éthique pratique et en philosophi
 e de la mort et du mourir. Parmi ses ouvrages figurent Suicide: The Philos
 ophical Dimensions (Broadview\, 2011)\, Understanding Kant’s Ethics (Cambr
 idge University Press\, 2016) et Grief: A Philosophical Guide (Princeton U
 niversity Press\, 2022). Il est également l’éditeur de plusieurs recueils 
 universitaires\, dont Immortality and the Philosophy of Death (Rowman and 
 Littlefield\, 2015)\, Procreation\, Parenthood\, and Educational Rights (R
 outledge\, 2017)\, The Future of Work\, Technology\, and Basic Income (Rou
 tledge\, 2019)\, The Movement for Black Lives: Philosophical Perspectives 
 (Oxford University Press\, 2020)\, New Directions in the Ethics of Assiste
 d Suicide and Euthanasia\, édition révisée (Springer\, 2023)\, Debating a
