It can also strengthen the skil ls of health professionals and contribute to their professional developmen t and patient satisfaction. According to OPR\, partner organizations colle ct data about their practice and use it to reflect\, understand and discov er knowledge. For example\, OPR can be applied to develop reflective pract ice and organizational learning. The objective of this training is to intr oduce participants to the specificities of OPR (compared to other collabor ative research approaches)\, learn how to conduct an OPR study\, and discu ss it in relation to their respective research through group exercises.\n \nMain objectives\n At the end of the workshop\, participants will be able to:\n\n\n Distinguish OPR from other trends in participatory research\;\n To know the processes of the RPO\;\n Apply OPR processes in their own researc h projects.\n Be aware of the potential additional benefits of OPR\n\n\nAt registration\, participants will be asked to provide a short summary of th eir project and specify the following elements:\n\n\n Object of research an d\, if it is evaluative research\, intervention under study\;\n Research ob jectives or questions\;\n Methods\;\n Actors involved.\n\n\nProcedure\n Face- to-face workshop in French (only 20 places available - to register\, click here). \n \n October 23\, 2019\, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm\n Department of Fam ily Medicine\n 5858\, chemin de la  Côte-des-Neiges \n \n For inquiries and/o r if you wish to attend this event in English\, please contact paula.bush [at] mcgill.ca. \n DTSTART:20191023T173000Z DTEND:20191023T203000Z LOCATION:CA\, QC\, Montreal\, Department of Family Medicine\, 5858 Chemin d e la Côte-des-Neiges\, Suite 300 SUMMARY:Training Workshop: Organizational Participatory Research (in French ) URL:/familymed/channels/event/training-workshop-organi zational-participatory-research-french-300931 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
