  Assistant Professor in the de Department of Social and Preventive Medicin
 e. She currently holds an FRQS Senior award and is Associate Professor at 
 INRS-Institut Armand Frappier\, and Researcher at CHU Sainte-Justin Childr
 en's Hospital. Her research focuses on the influence of built and social e
 nvironment on cardio-metabolic outcomes\, obesity聽and related lifestyle be
 haviours including physical activity and sedentary pursuits. Students have
  published on defining and capturing meaningful settings and exposures wit
 hin the community\, on the relations between neighbourhood features and he
 alth or behavioural outcomes\, and on potential mechanisms linking neighbo
 urhoods to obesity. Ultimately\, she hopes to reduce the obesogenic potent
 ial of environments and promote healthy weight throughout the life course.
  Her talk will focus broadly on her program of research\, ongoing studies
