Marisa Zampini, MD, and Jean Zigby, MD, both members of 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 Department of Family Medicine, received the inaugural Jonathan & Susan Wener Family Outstanding Physician Award during the Jewish General Hospital (JGH) Foundation鈥檚 Annual General Meeting, hosted on September 17.
Dr. Marisa Zampini (third from right), a family medicine physician in the Goldman Herzl Family Practice Centre, was honoured for her dedication to providing the highest quality of care for her patients and for the polyvalence of her care in a variety of clinical settings, including out-patient and walk-in clinics, family medicine obstetrics and hospitalist care.
Dr. Jean Zigby (second from right), Director of the Division of Supportive and Palliative Medicine, was acknowledged for skillfully navigating the complex clinical demands of his field, all the while fostering trust and understanding among patients and families so that they feel heard and supported.
