 Central Mexico\n\nRésumé / abstract:\n\nIn order to develop a conceptual m
 odel of fluid transport in a geothermal system\, it is essential to gain a
 n understanding of the hydrogeochemistry of the water and gases that are i
 nteracting within the system. Integration of hydrogeochemical evaluation w
 ith other geothermal exploration techniques facilitates the creation of co
 nceptual fluid transport models. In this study\, the results of chemical a
 nd isotopic analyses of water and gases within the Araró-Simirao geotherma
 l system\, which is located within the Cuitzeo Lake tectonic basin in the 
 central portion of the Transmexican Volcanic Belt (CTM)\, provide evidence
  on the transport of fluids. The results indicate that zones of higher per
 meability\, such as normal faults\, play a significant role in the mobilit
 y of fluids. Additionally\, the interaction of fluids with the shallow aqu
 ifer in the area was observed.\n\n \n
