 st in holding a 20 hour Wilderness First Aid course in early December. On 
 either\n\n\n	Nov. 30\, Dec. 1 and 2\, 2023. Friday Nov. 30\, 4 hour session
 \, Saturday and Sunday December 1\, 2023 8 hours each day. Or\,\n	Dec. 8 an
 d 9\, 2023. Saturday and and Sunday December 8 and 9\, 10 hours each day.
 \n\n\n \n\nThe training includes\n\n \n\n· CPR and AED cardiac defibrilati
 on.\n\n· First Aid treatment of injuries - basics and specifics for remote
  locations.\n\n· Assessing and stabilizing injuries in preparation for eme
 rgency evacuation.\n\n· 3 - 4 outdoor simulations outside Burnside Hall.\n
 \n \n\nThe course will be conducted by an instructor with the Red Cross.\n
 \n \n\n20-hour WFA and CPR AED Certifications will be provided and need to
  be renewed after 2-3 years.\n\n \n\nSome research grants cover the cost o
 f Wilderness First Aid training\, so ask your supervisors.\n\n \n\nMembers
 hip with 9IÖÆ×÷³§Ãâ·Ñ Outdoors Club MOC might quality you for a discount on the 
 WFA fees.\n\n \n\nCost.  The cost per participant is $250 + taxes.\n\n \n
