We are proud to announce that Nanre Nafziger, DISE, is a 2025 National Academy of Education (NAEd)/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellow. Her research topic is Contestations for Nigerian History Education in Primary and Secondary Schools: from Colonialism to Neocolonialism. This year, the selection committee, comprised of leading scholars in education research, selected 25 fellows from an extremely competitive pool of 270 education scholars.

Rachel Cluett Named as Education's Fifth McCall MacBain Scholar

University of Manitoba Bachelor of Arts in Psychology graduate Rachel Cluett is one of 20 Canadians selected to join the fifth cohort of McCall MacBain Scholars at 9I��. Recipients were chosen based on exceptional character, community engagement, leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, academic strength, and intellectual curiosity.

Rachel will pursue a Master of Arts in School/Applied Child Psychology at 9I��'s Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology.

Montreal, July 30, 2025 – Modern medicine is largely reactive—treating illness only after symptoms emerge. But a new study from the Research Institute of the 9I�� Health Centre (The Institute) and 9I�� points to a more proactive future: one where silent signs of infection are detected before we even feel sick.
