While university departments have noted inclusive excellence as a goal for their programs\, how this ou tcome is realized is often unclear or difficult to assess and tricky to na vigate in the current political climate. Equally troubling is the scarcity of ideas on why and how curriculum can be enhanced for transformative cha nge\, radical possibility\, and social justice. Additionally\, recent disc ourses on the history of how space has been interpreted for minority popul ations in Canada has brought about perspectives on how to best proceed wit h reconciliation.\n \n One approach that could have promise is cultural equi ty. Cultural equity explicitly values policies and practices that ensure t hat everyone has support\, venues for expression\, nurturing environments\ , and fair access to resources for growth\, change\, and a vibrant\, creat ive life. In making a case for this approach\, five conceptual areas will be presented for consideration: public pedagogy\, interrelationship\, dehu manization\, spatiality\, and technological irreality. The conclusion of t he lecture will outline strategies for sustained approaches in training fu ture kinesiology professionals. \n\nFeaturing Internationally Renowned Gue st Speaker:\n Dr. Brian Culp\, Professor\, Kennesaw State\, Georgia\, USA\n \nDr. Brian Culp is a full professor of Health and Physical Activity Leade rship in the Wellstar College of Health and Human Services at Kennesaw Sta te University in Kennesaw\, Georgia.
