She is the pa st president of the Society for the Study of Motivation and the Internatio nal Social Cognition Network. She is an expert on motivation and decision making. Dr. Fishbach’s groundbreaking research on human motivation has won the Society of Experimental Social Psychology's Best Dissertation Award a nd Career Trajectory Award\, and the Fulbright Educational Foundation Awar d.\n\nAbout the presentation\n\nMotivating ourselves and others is challen ging during these uncertain times. I pre-sent what motivation science has taught us about how to achieve our goals. I review research on setting a g oal\, monitoring progress toward a goal\, addressing multiple goals and le veraging social support. Within each cate-gory\, I review some of the inte rventions that facilitate behavioral change.\n\nPanel Discussion: A panel of scientists and actin leader will follow the presentation to advance pre cision convergence science and innovation in discussing how integrative mo dels bridging human biology\, brain and society can be linked with equally multiscale models of natural and man-made materials and processes. The go al is to articulate short- and mid-term pathways for research\, action and policy to support behavioral change and ecosystem transformation at scale to-ward convergence of health\, social\, environmental and economic outco mes for individual\, enterprise\, and society.
