In his research\, DeWitt explores how the underlying task structure of jobs has changed over the pa st two decades\, and the effects that can have on transitions in the workp lace. In this work\, he uses natural language processing and other computa tional methods. He received his PhD from the Ross School of Business at th e University of Michigan\, and his MBA and BA from Yale University. Before attending the University of Michigan\, he worked for approximately a deca de in financial services including stints as a financial analyst at Harvar d University and Standard and Poor’s Ratings Services.
