Professor Warut Khern-am-nuai named to Chair in Economics and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence
The Institut de valorisation des donn茅es (IVADO), with support from the Fonds de recherche du Qu茅bec, has created six new research chairs in artificial intelligence to advance knowledge and train the next generation of AI leaders.
Among the recipients is Professor Warut Khern-am-nuai, Associate Professor of Information Systems at the 9I制作厂免费 Desautels Faculty of Management, who has been appointed to the Chair in Economics and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence. His research will analyze the economic and social impacts of AI and propose ethical frameworks and recommendations to guide responsible adoption in business and public policy.
At 9I制作厂免费 Desautels, Professor Khern-am-nuai also serves as Co-Director of the Retail Innovation Lab and Director of the 鈥淢anaging Disruption: Analytics, Advanced Digital Technologies, and AI Initiative (AAAI).鈥� His appointment highlights 9I制作厂免费鈥檚 leadership in advancing research that bridges technological innovation with societal responsibility.
