 opportunity for trainees (medical students\, residents\, fellows and gradu
 ate students) from all sites to showcase their research at the Department 
 of Medicine Research Symposium on Tuesday\, December 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to
  5:00 p.m.\, at the auditorium and atrium of the RI-MUHC. Click here to re
 gister (required).\n\nAbstract guidelines: Your abstract should be a maxim
 um of 250 words and 1 page in length\, with the following format: Title\, 
 List of Authors\, Background\, Objectives\, Methods\, Results and Conclusi
 on. We will accept case reports if they provide novel information.\n\nPres
 entation: You will be informed about acceptance of your abstract by Novemb
 er 18. If accepted\, you must be available to present your abstract in pos
 ter format in person on December 3. The top 4 abstracts\, as judged by our
  scientific planning committee\, will be selected for 10-minute live prese
 ntations during our abstract slam at the symposium. There will be a cash p
 rize for the best presentation.\n
